Courbet's Palette
Yesterday, my New York brother emailed to say he'd seen thirteen Courbets in a private house. Thirteen.Today, I found Courbet's palette in Abbo's Alley.
Not only did you find Courbet's palette, you made a photograph that looks like a Courbet landscape. To tell you the truth, I've never been able to cotton to Courbet. Until I saw them in an intimate setting, in a house not a museums. Museums are not always the most hospitable environments for works of art.

Glad you liked it!
When I took the photo I wasn't thinking of Courbet, but when I got home, the palette just struck me. Atmosphere.
