- For the third time, a Canon G12 failed.
- A borrowed camera meant telephoto but not macro.
- A purchased old Nikon DSLR with two good lenses (and one bad) and a newly purchased (too small) macro equaled utter dissatisfaction.
- A new Panasonic Lumix took quite a lot of getting used to.
- Two ponds not previously visited, one of which offered much more Odonate diversity that any other body of water, became my go-to spots.
- Nine species added to the Sewanee list (three dragonfly and six damselfly).
- Up-close-and-personal photographs of four Odonates that have previously eluded me.
- Four other species seen and snapped for the first time, but off the Domain.
