Facing into the Wind
Calico pennants ride blades of grass, facing into the wind. Like Cirque de Soleil acrobats, dragonflies make magic effortlessly: a light touch, delicate balance, a glance at the photographer as if to say, What! You can't do this?Today, a fellow and his wife power-washed my house, removing years of dirt, mold, mildew. A month ago, he lost his job of 15 years because his company disbanded his division. He now rides into the wind, too, taking jobs as they appear, maintaining equilibrium, refining his balance each day. The dragonfly and the handyman have much to teach.
