In all creative pursuits -- writing poems, making books, throwing pots -- I keep making "snaps," as it were, to get to something that sort of works. What I love most about writing are the small edits, like finding the just right word or deleting the unnecessary details. I add and subtract, add and subtract, add and subtract.
Re-vision can go on forever. Happily, a digital camera means I can feed my obsession without cost and with great pleasure. Here are three of today's re-visions.
