News from Lake Cheston!

Friends!

I bring exciting news from Lake Cheston, the convenient family-, student-, and mountain local-friendly on-campus swimming hole, fishing hole, dog walk, cycling/walking/jogging/running/camping site!

Thanks to some ingenious individuals, there are now at least three new amenities for your pleasure!

First up: apparent permission to build campfires wherever you wish, even under low hanging shrubs at the water's edge just a few feet off the lake-loop trail!

Next: water craft stored in a conveniently unlocked shed, with a newly cleared muddied bank directly opposite for slipping and sliding them into the lake!

And finally: a rope swing beginning just below the picnic pavilion. Imagine the pleasure of flying downhill and swinging straight across the walking path into the water! What fun it will be to startle passersby, perhaps even knocking one or more of them into the water for a team plunge!

And that, my friends, is the news from Lake Cheston on this August 7 of the year 2015.

YSR!
