Daily Snap Photos 2015

When I started Daily Snaps in 2012, I didn't know I would become hooked; yet "hooked" I am. Taking these snapshots, looking again and again at them and adjusting them slightly, printing some and ignoring others, publishing and sharing them, I see evidence of my own obsessive learning and love of the natural and built worlds.


Last night, on my way home from my weekly movie with Boo, I noticed the light string at Guerry Garth on campus. Despite the 34-degree weather, the late hour, and exhaustion, I returned home, grabbed my camera, a warm coat, and a hat, and headed back out.

Although I took the photo last night, circumstance and more un-photogenic weather dictate that this is the first of my fifth year of dailies.
