A short walk (Nature at Noon) along the road to Morgan's Steep revealed lots of little things I had never noticed: trillium, violets, bluets, something that smelled divine whose name I've already forgotten, and impossibly showy blueberry blossoms as beautiful as the fruit is delicious.
On the way home, I found more in the same color palette, and at home even more -- Kwanzan cherry buds with a miraculous vapor trail pointing its way toward leafy blossoms. The small things that go unnoticed: these make my days.
