Peony Pollen
For some, pollen pollutes the splendor of spring.
For me, as did my favorite childhood breakfast -- confectioner's sugar piled on pancakes --, pollen promises powdery delight.
Thanks, Joni. This is a peony with a story. My neighbor, who has the peony, told me the plant was nurtured from a cutting from the ancestral peony in Virginia. :-)
